Rory Mitchell is a Scottish artist originally from Aberdeenshire, currently working out of Oslo, Norway.

The main body of work consists of large oil paintings, smaller gouache paintings and drawings. There is seldom reference to models or base photographs, hence his work has evolved over years into being expressive, thoughtful and highly imaginitive. Coupled with an excellent technical application and the results are usually very unique and challenging. The images reflect possibly a more traditional style of illustration.

Rory has exhibited globally including Edinburgh, London, Paris, Oslo and Dubai.
